The TalTech Student Union invites all students to participate in a mental health survey. Your experience will help shape the university's support and services so that they truly meet the needs of students. You can participate in the survey until 10 June.
A semester can go smoothly, but it can also happen that your energy starts to run low. The Student Union wants to know how TalTech students are really doing and how the university could offer better support.
We are not looking for polished answers, just simple honesty. Your experience is our strongest argument for genuinely standing up for students' interests.
✓ Taking part in the survey takes 12–15 minutes.
✓ It is completely anonymous.
✓ Among respondents, we will raffle off 5 × €40 Ülemiste gift cards.
Your responses are extremely important for improving the university's support services and shaping the student body's advocacy positions.
In October 2022, the mental health working group, led by the Student Union, conducted a survey in which 694 TalTech students participated. The results confirmed that mental health concerns are a widespread issue among students, that these concerns are linked to difficulties in keeping up with studies, and that information about mental health services at the university is not sufficiently accessible to students.
Based on the survey, mental health positions were formed, which the representative council approved on 11 April 2023. The Student Union uses these positions as a basis for developing the field of mental health at Tallinn University of Technology and beyond.
