Tallinn University of Technology has been invited to join EuroTech, a collaboration network of leading European universities of technology.

“This marks an important step in the internationalisation of Estonian higher education and research,” said Rector Tiit Land. “The EuroTech network provides our university with access to top-level European expertise and infrastructure, and enables us to participate in international research projects on an even larger scale.”According to the Rector, the membership, which will take effect on 1 January 2027, will create new opportunities for both researchers and students.

EuroTech currently brings together six top-tier universities in engineering and natural sciences. Its shared goal is to advance innovation, strengthen research collaboration, shape the future of engineering education in Europe, and enhance Europe’s global competitiveness.
Through the EuroTeQ educational development project has TalTech already been cooperating with member universities of the network since 2019. The aim of EuroTeQ is to develop the concept of an international “University of the Future”, whose research-based engineering education ecosystem is pioneering both in Europe and globally.
