TalTech has become a member of the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies

On 9 June 2026, TalTech has become a member of the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies.
Our university was represented by Prof. Mari Avarmaa, Dean of the School of Business and Governance. The signing ceremony took place at Tallinn University in the framework of the high-profile meeting between Sirje Karis, First Lady of the Republic of Estonia, and Olena Zelenska, First Lady of Ukraine together with representatives of Estonian universities. The Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies is an international initiative launched by the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska in July 2024. Its mission is to strengthen cooperation between universities and research institutions worldwide and Ukrainian educational and cultural institutions, More than 91 higher education institutions around the world have already joined the network.
TalTech’s membership in the Coalition demonstrates the university’s commitment to strengthening international academic cooperation with Ukrainian educational institutions.
