Tallinn University of Technology

On May 27 at 13:00, the design conditions and project for the promenade connecting the two campuses – TalTech and Tehnopol – will be introduced at the TalTech Student House.

Connecting the two campuses is important for fostering the flow of knowledge, collaboration, and innovation. A well-designed space with convenient pedestrian and cycling routes, as well as high-quality recreational areas, supports a sense of community and creates the conditions for new ideas to emerge. Such an environment encourages spontaneous interaction between researchers, entrepreneurs, and students, and helps to shape an urban space that supports sustainable development and people’s well-being.

With the promenade:

  • The existing road network will be improved, with new pedestrian and bicycle paths, as well as bicycle parking areas.
  • Pleasant meeting and recreational areas will be created, welcoming students, campus staff, and local residents alike.
  • Sports and leisure facilities will be established, offering various opportunities for active recreation.
  • Existing parking areas will be renovated and upgraded.
  • Additional landscaping and green spaces will be added.

On May 27 at 13:00, Alvin Järving (Arhitekt Must) will present the design conditions and project for the promenade, with representatives from TalTech and Tehnopol also speaking. Everyone interested is welcome to attend and share their thoughts!
