Education Quality Work Group project is year-around project which is created and lead by Student Union. Every year about 5 work groups are made which are lead by specific facuty students who are in charge of organizing meetings, collecting feedback and writing a report on theirs specific target group.
What Do I Have To Do If I Join A Work Group?
You are expected to take part in one meeting where students from same target group and faculty share their thoughts and suggestion about education in TalTech. Meeting usually lasts 1h and then its done.
What Are Work Groups And How Are They Formed?
Work groups are created in every faculty/college or for a specific target group. Student can give his/hers feedback usually in one meeting which is organized for students connected to the same lecturer.
Work group members also ensure that sufficient amount of students will participate in a meeting in order to collect valid feedback. Also, the participants are expected to represent the opinion of all students on your programme in order to get valid feedback. Everyone is welcome to join and share their thoughts and opinions will be discussed during the work group meeting. When every work group member agrees on a certain matter - that is the valid information we are looking for!
How Is The Report Composed?
The report is composed from the information gathered at the work group meetings. Our work group leaders have a sheet with areas we would like to get feedback. Due to amount of information only very good examples and areas which have room to develop will be in the final report.
One meeting usually lasts about 1h and this is all we expect from work group members.
