Sirje Ustav, the head of the unit of Entrepreneurship and International Business at TalTech was in Äripäev Radio on 16 February to discuss whether and why entrepreneurship education is important.
According to Ustav, a senior lecturer at the Department of Business Administration, research has shown that entrepreneurs who are graduates of higher education are more successful. Famous entrepreneurs can succeed without holding a university degree, but this is because although they have studied at the university and acquired the required knowledge, they have not completed their final theses, which is a time-consuming process.
The interview also covers the myths of entrepreneurship, the challenges of distance learning, and the differences between entrepreneurship and being entrepreneurial.
