Panelists:

  • Professor Sanja Bauk – ERA Chair Holder of the MariCybERA project at the Estonian Maritime Academy (TalTech), focusing on advancing maritime digital transformation and cybersecurity resilience.
  • Associate Professor Rain Ottis – Head of the Centre for Digital Forensics and Cyber Security, TalTech Department of Software Science. Specialist in cyber defence, cyber education, and digital security strategy.
  • Dr. Ricardo Gregorio Lugo – Psychologist specializing in self-efficacy, metacognition, and macrocognition in high-stakes environments, with collaborative research across Europe and the US, including applications in cybersecurity and human performance.
  • Dr. Gabor Visky – Recently defended PhD on cybersecurity for maritime operational technology. Formerly with NATO CCDCOE, with 15 years of experience in designing and assessing embedded control system security.
  • Dan Heering – Expert, Centre for Maritime Cybersecurity, Estonian Maritime Academy. Background includes seafaring, MSc from TalTech, and current doctoral research on maritime cyber readiness and capability development.
