Academicians are Estonian citizens who have significantly contributed to the development of research in their field. Upon the election of new members to the Academy, the General Assembly of the Estonian Academy of Sciences will consider each candidate’s contribution to strengthening the Academy and Estonian scientific research and competitiveness as a whole.
