Aim of the course:

This module is an in-depth analysis of IPR intensive entrepreneurship. The focus is on doctoral students from STEM study programs.

Topics:

This module has an in-depth analysis of IPR intensive entrepreneurship. Due emphasis is laid on appropriate case studies, from legal and business perspectives. Students will be introduced to strategies and concepts on how to acquire, protect, commercialise and exploit their IPR. The role of government support for a RDI intensive ecosystem and its social, strategic, economic and legal implications will also be analysed. There will be assigned readings for home study.

Study results:

After passing this module, student:
- Explains the economical, historical and legal foundations of IPR intensive entrepreneurship;
- Compares and contrasts analytically the different forms of IPR intensive entrepreneurship

Assessment criteria:

Sellel moodulil on läbimise/mitte läbimise kriteeriumid. Hindamine toimub veebipõhise Moodle'i testi alusel, mis sisaldab kuni 10 tõene/vale tüüpi küsimust. Üliõpilased, kes vastavad õigesti rohkem kui 60% küsimustest, läbivad selle mooduli.
