Cooperation with Nonlinear Control Systems Group

The Nonlinear Control Systems Group is a leading Estonian research unit in automatic control, focusing on control theory and symbolic software and supports research, applications and teaching. We have competence and are interested in helping businesses with challenging and timely problems related to the development of energy-efficient control solutions.

OUR EXPERTISE

  • Modeling and analysis of nonlinear control systems
  • Mathematical control theory
  • Energy-efficient and optimal solutions
  • Development of innovative algorithms in energy domain

WHICH PROBLEMS CAN WE SOLVE

The group is developing predominantly application-independent general methods determined by the dynamic properties of the mathematical models. However, we have been recently focused on a few carefully chosen applications, which include:

  • Study of practical problems related to renewable energy integration
  • Improvement of energy performance in a building stock
  • Control of autonomous underwater vehicles and ionic polymer-metal composite actuators

HOW CAN WE HELP YOU

Problem statement

Knowledge transfer

Pilot projects

Future-proof solutions

Our experts may help you to understand your needs and formulate the initial problem statement.

We may help you in understanding the current state-of-the-art and identify the most prospective directions for development.

We can launch a pilot project and design a minimal viable product.

We are interested in complex problems which may take your product to the next level.
