On October 27, 2023 at 10AM, TalTech will organise a seminar Human Aspects of Advancing Cybersecurity as part of the ADVANCES (Advancing Human Performance in Cybersecurity) project.

We invite everyone who is interested in increasing the cybersecurity of their organisation or company considering both technological and human capabilities.

The main objective of the project is to advance the performance of security specialists by analyzing human behaviour and taking into account the knowledge and skills necessary for security specialists. As a result, a methodology and toolkit will be created, which will include software components to collect and analyse data, self-report tools, various recommendations and methodology for evaluating and developing competencies, etc.

The seminar will take place in Tallinn University of Technology, School of IT building (address: Akadeemia 15a) room ICT-315 (3rd floor).

The project results will be introduced the our partners from Lithuania (Vilnius University and The General Jonas Zemais Military Academy of Lithuania), Latvia (Riga Technical University and Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences) and the donor country Norway (Østfold University College and Norwegian University of Science and Technology).

The topics of the seminar are:

  • application of behavioural sciences in cybersecurity;
  • profiling of cybersecurity operators and users;
  • designing of cybersecurity education.
