The exhibition "The pen is mightier than the sword" is open on the library’s 2nd floor reading area from the 7th of November to the 5th of January.
Misinformation, disinformation and propaganda are not inventions of this or even the past century, but the reach and influence of these phenomena have increased since the invention of the world wide web and the rise of social media. The skill to distinguish real news from fake news is becoming more and more important.
The exhibition consists of books about misleading and false information to aid you in developing better critical thinking skills. In addition, a selection of e-books, video essays, games, tests and other digital materials are available.
