The 3rd Smart City Exchange Forum with the theme "Collaboration drives innovation: City-to-City, Research & Innovation partnerships" is held on 26. of January, 2023 and aims to enhance the cooperation and networking between researchers, cities, policy makers, companies and other relevant stakeholders for developing sustainable, resilient, and smarter urban environment.

3rd Smart City Exchange Forum

The main focus of 3rd Smart City Exchange Forum is on the collaboration structures between cities and their Research and Innovation ecosystems.

The event will be opened by the mayors of Tallinn and Helsinki. Presentations are done by various representatives of cooperation projects of the UN and the most prominent cities in Europe, such as NetZeroCities, UNDP Urban Learning Center, etc. In addition, FinEst Centre for Smart Cities will introduce its large-scale piloting programme what is carried out in six different cities in Estonia.

As in 2023, the city of Tallinn will be hosting the European Green Capital title then 3rd Smart City Exchange Forum Day is co-hosted by the City of Tallinn.

Smart City Exchange Forum will take place on Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Tallinn Teachers' House (Town Hall Square 14), followed by a reception until 7:00 p.m.

Participation is free, but pre-registration is required.
The event will be held in english.
