Come see a part of the Museum of Photography's exhibition A Day in Tallinn 2020 on the library's 2nd floor! The exhibition displays the photos of eleven photographers that were taken on the 15th of May, when Tallinn Day is celebrated.
Eleven photographers - Peeter Langovits, Eve Kiiler, Arno Mikkor, Raul Mee, Daisy Lappard, Meeli Küttim, Andres Teiss, Heiko Kruusi, Egert Kamenik, Raigo Pajula and Airi Leon - captured the look and fluidum of our capital for future generations, in one day. At the time of the photo hunt two years ago, Estonia was in a state of emergency due to the global COVID-19 crisis, which allowed the photographers to find exciting and shifting moments in urban life.
The captures from the city districts Mustamäe, Kristiine, Nõmme, Kesklinna and Kalamaja are on display in a large format in the library. The photos from other city districts can be found in the exhibition's photobook.
The exhibition is open until the 31st of March.
