Tallinn University of Technology

On the 27th of May, the industry digitization conference Industry 4.0 in Practice will take place at TalTech. The conference, which is taking place for the seventh year, aims to inspire and share information on how the digitization of industrial enterprises can help to achieve higher efficiency and develop new products. A major theme of this year's conference is Twin Transition or digitization following a green way of thinking.

Throughout the long history of the conference, the attitudes of industrial enterprises have undergone significant changes, and new information, advice, and examples for conducting automatization are valued more and more. This is illustrated by over half a thousand participants from last year, most of whom were representatives of industrial enterprises. The conference takes place on the 27th of May at TalTech Mektory and will be held in a hybrid format. This means that a part of the guests will be hosted on-site according to current rules, and the rest will participate online via the virtual conference platform Worksup. Remote attendees will have the same opportunities as on-site participants: they can listen to presentations, ask questions, visit the expo, and communicate with each other.

The event is a collaboration between TalTech, the Estonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications (ITL), the Estonian Electronics Industries Association, Enterprise Estonia (EAS), and numerous flagship technology companies.
