For the sixth time, TalTech is organising Sustainability Week, inviting everyone interested to take part in diverse and educational activities for a more sustainable future from April 21 to 27.

The event is organized by students from the School of Business and Governance at TalTech and supported by the newly established Centre for Responsible Economy and ESG at the university. Sustainability Week, dedicated to Earth Day (April 22), involves the entire university community and all other interested participants!

All events are free of charge!

    The Clothing Swap is a sustainable event where you can exchange your old clothes for new ones – for free! We invite students, lecturers, and staff to do a spring clean of their wardrobes and give clothes a second life.

  • Waste Sorting Game

    📍 TalTech Main Building Lobby
    Put your waste sorting knowledge and skills to the test! In this game, participants receive various types of waste – plastic, paper, bio-waste, and general waste – and must quickly and correctly place them into cardboard “containers.”

  • Sustainability Hunt

    Join the Sustainability Hunt, where you'll face three hands-on challenges – sort waste like a pro, solve energy-related puzzles, and purify water using natural methods. The game format lets you test your knowledge, creativity, and speed.

  • Small Step – Big Impact!
    An interactive survey that encourages reflection, shares new knowledge, and shows how small choices can make a big difference. Just scan the QR code, answer, and think along! You’ll find the QR codes all over campus – in cafés, the library, notice boards, and the SOC building lobby.

    Do you know what a sustainable food system is and what common myths surround it? All week, 10 posters will be displayed across campus corridors. Each one presents a statement or myth related to sustainability – is it TRUE or FALSE? Test your knowledge!

    Got old electronics lying around? Bring them in! The DigiBox is a collection point for old phones, headphones, chargers, and other small devices. Help prevent e-waste from ending up in general trash and support the circular economy.
