TalTech Library, in collaboration with JoVE representatives, invites faculty members, researchers, doctoral students, lab instructors, educational technologists and other interested participants to attend the JoVE Lunch & Learn workshop on 27 March at 11:00 in the TalTech Energy Building, room NRG-422.
The workshop introduces JoVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments) and its collection of research and educational videos, as well as their use at TalTech.
Workshop topics:
- JoVE for research – demonstration of how experimental methods presented in JoVE video articles can be applied and reproduced in research.
- JoVE in teaching – how JoVE videos can support both introductory and advanced-level teaching. Participants will learn how to create video playlists and quizzes and integrate JoVE content into Moodle.
- JoVE Usage Leaderboard Contest – overview of the contest that encourages more active use of JoVE videos in teaching.
