Irmeli Vaher-Jaanson’s miniature bookbinding exhibition “My songs – author’s books for six poets” is open from 2–29 May in the library’s 2nd floor reading area.
The current exhibition displays a series of miniature bindings, each comprised of six sets, and gives a modern interpretation of form to the works of Villem Ridala, Marie Under, Karl Eduard Sööt, Karl Voldemar Rosenstrauch, Marie Heiberg, and Ernst Enno.
In addition to the author’s books, the exhibition also includes Irmeli Vaher-Jaanson’s landscape paintings that were created with inspiration from Harku forest’s nuanced landscape.
