Tallinn University of Technology

From 1 July to 1 September, the exhibition “Our intangible cultural heritage: passed down through generations” is open in the library’s 2nd floor reading area.

The exhibition showcases elements of Estonian folk culture that have been inscribed on the UNESCO Lists of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, including the Song and Dance festivals, Seto polyphonic singing, the smoke sauna tradition in Võromaa and several other unique expressions of heritage. These traditions, skills, and forms of knowledge have been cherished by communities across generations and continue to live on today.
Come explore the traditions that have shaped Estonia’s cultural identity and earned recognition from UNESCO.
