The last Nurkse Reading Seminar of the Spring semester will look at the wider context and discuss the environment necessary to support scientific performance on the national scale.

The discussion will be based on a paper by Jüri Allik, Kalmer Lauk and Anu Realo titled “Factors Predicting the Scientific Wealth of Nations”.

We are extremely glad to have Professor Allik join the seminar to talk about his paper and discuss the issue of measuring success in science.

The discussion will open with a comment by our own Wolfgang Drechsler, Professor of Governance in the Nurkse Department of Innovation and Governance.

The Reading Seminar will take place via Zoom at 16.00-17.30.
