Professor Aditya Johri is a Professor of Information Sciences & Technology in the Volgenau School of Engineering at George Mason University. He directs the Engineering Education & Cyberlearning Lab (EECL) Lab. This semester, he is serving as a Fulbright-Nokia Distinguished Chair in Information and Communication Technologies (2021-2022) at the Department of Computer Science, Aalto University, Espoo, Finland.

In the lecture, he will address the challenges of artificial intelligence and new technologies in engineering and engineering education. How to make ethically right decisions in situations where the right solutions are not provided? How the development of engineering sciences, especially new technologies impact societies? What does Situated Algorithmic Thinking mean?
