Sinikka teadusseminar

Introductory remarks by the speaker

Rapid technological advancement enables us to use automation and autonomous functions more extensively in maritime operations. However, creating a sustainable foundation for future maritime operations still requires much effort. This presentation aims to identify the cornerstones that need to be implemented to ensure efficient development. It also highlights the importance of creating a future that enables seafarers and other maritime professionals to maintain their expertise and professional pride through the use of technology rather than being replaced by it.
