On September 17th, the traditional TalTech relay race will take place in the Sütiste and Nõmme forests. The start, relay area, and finish line are located next to the TalTech Sports Club (Männiliiva Tänav 7). The competition center will open at 16:30, and the start will be given at exactly 19:00.
COMPETITION SYSTEM
The relay race is open to teams of 5 members. Each team member will run a 4.22 km course, meaning the team will collectively cover a half-marathon distance of 21.2 km. There are three competition categories:
- Women,
- Men,
- Mixed teams (the team must include at least one woman).
REGISTRATION

Current and former members of TalTech are invited to participate for FREE! Teams that meet the requirements for the student championships can also participate for free. The entry fee for teams outside the university is 10 euros.

RECTOR'S CUP
The TalTech Relay Race 2024 is part of the Rector’s Cup competition series! To participate in the Rector’s Cup scoring, all team members must be from the same faculty. All TalTech members, regardless of their team’s faculty composition, will earn points for their faculty in the Rector’s Cup activity scoring.

ESTONIAN STUDENT CHAMPIONSHIPS IN CROSS-COUNTRY RELAY RACE 2024
The TalTech Relay Race will determine the Estonian student champions in the cross-country relay race! The Student Championship is open to students from Estonian higher education institutions who have a valid student ID or other proof of student status (no age limits), as well as alumni who graduated in 2023 or later.
The competition is organized by the TalTech Rector’s Cup organizing team in cooperation with the Estonian Academic Sports Federation.
