Tallinn University of Technology

TalTech AI invites you to their next upcoming seminar on February 4th, 15:00-16:00 (the location will be confirmed soon).

This month, the seminar will be hosted by the Centre for Biorobotics, who will offer a fascinating glimpse into their ongoing work and applications of AI in it.

The Centre for Biorobotics develops robots, sensors and methods of data acquisition and data processing for remote and hazardous environments. AI methods are developed and used for two critical roles in their research:

  1. Controlling complex robots that operate in highly nonlinear and challenging environments, where data is often scarce, and model training is difficult, time-consuming, expensive, or even dangerous.
  2. Developing advanced methods for data acquisition and processing from remote and hazardous environments where accessing data is particularly hard or limited.

The seminar will begin with an engaging presentation, followed by a discussion and free-form networking over coffee and snacks. In case of interest, you will also have the opportunity to visit the Biorobotics lab and see their robots in action. Please note that this seminar will be held exclusively in person, so don’t miss the opportunity to join us!

We look forward to seeing you there!
