Tehnopol and the Smart City Centre of Excellence are hosting a webcast titled "How to create a smart city? Needs, solutions and possibilities" on Tallinn Entrepreneurship Day, the 6th of October at 17-17.45.

The Smart City Centre of Excellence has been given a mandate and financial resources (15M€) by the state of Estonia and the European Commission to develop 10 solutions that originate from the problems of the municipality and have as wide of an impact as possible. Developing the solutions will take place in the years 2021-2027.

On the webcast, the director of the Smart City Centre of Excellence, Ralf-Martin Soe, and the head of innovation Külle Tärnov will speak about the solutions of smart cities and the innovation contest which is going to be announced soon.
