Jeffrey Andrew Tuhtan's public lecture (venia legendi) on the position of Professor of Environmental Sensing Technology will be broadcasted in Teams on March 11 at 12.00.

The aim of the position is research and development related to the development and implementation of environmental monitoring technologies in rivers, lakes and coastal waters. Research and development focuses on accurate and timely measurements, especially in extreme conditions such as floods, storms and extreme temperatures.

Jeffrey Andrew Tuhtan has been a researcher at the Center for Biorobotics, Department of Computer Systems, School of IT, Tallinn University of Technology since 2017. He received his master's degree (2007) and his doctoral degree (2011) from the University of Stuttgart. In 2013-2016, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Tallinn University of Technology.
