FinEst Centre for Smart Cities has started the 4th round of the Smart City Challenge and is inviting all TalTech researchers and developers to solve complex urban challenges to make cities better living environments. This time we are investing 3.7 million euros to pilot and implement 4 new smart city solutions.

On May 29th, FinEst Centre is hosting a workshop to explore urban challenges proposed by cities. See all proposed challenges here.

Cities and municipalities that have submitted their urban challenges will introduce them in more detail. Researchers and developers with interest to propose solution ideas are invited to dig deeper into these challenges, ask questions, and connect with relevant city contacts to create proposals together.

Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to listen to an inspirational speaker from the City of Malmö, Jonas Kamleh, who will speak about innovative collaborations accelerating Malmö's journey to climate neutrality.

It is recommended to participate in the workshop in person, but virtual attendance is also possible. Virtual participants will receive a link a few days before the event.

Please register by May 23nd.
