Tallinn University of Technology

Join us in shaping the future of sustainability!

We are pleased to announce that applications for the 2026 are now open. We would greatly appreciate it if you could share this opportunity within your networks or with colleagues who may benefit from strengthening their sustainability assessment competencies.

The programme is organised within the EPICENTRE project, which is now in its final year, but the summer school itself will continue beyond the project. Our aim is to maintain and grow a strong international community of LCA-oriented professionals, researchers, and practitioners.

Why this programme?

Last year’s summer school was highly successful:

•    38 participants from academia and industry completed the programme and received EIT RawMaterials certificates;
•    One startup was created as a direct result of the programme;
•    The school earned the EIT RawMaterials Label, a recognition awarded to programmes that meet EIT’s high standards in academic quality, innovation and industry relevance.
•    Evaluators especially highlighted our programme’s strong methodological structure, clear learning outcomes and international teaching team.

New in 2026

Participants are encouraged to join with their own real cases—products, services, technologies, or concepts—to analyse and develop during the programme. This greatly increases the practical value for both individuals and organisations.

Each participant will also receive support from our mentors, including Līga Puzule and Mohammed H. Alzard from Riga Technical University.
