Tallinn University of Technology recognized its top performers of last year at the ceremony for the Anniversary of the Republic of Estonia. The title of Sports Achievement of the Year was awarded to the Selver/TalTech volleyball team, who fought their way to become champions of the Estonian and Baltic Leagues.

The Selver/TalTech team displayed excellent form and results last year. In the Estonian Championship final series, they defeated Võru Barrus Volleyball Club in the fourth match, and for the second year in a row, they raised the Estonian Championship trophy over their heads.
In March of last year, at the Cronimet Baltic League final held at TalTech Sports Club, they faced defending champion Tartu Bigbank. In front of 1,200 spectators, Selver/TalTech demonstrated their superiority in a five-set battle, crowning themselves as the best in the Cronimet League.
