At the start of summer, we invited alumni to donate old bicycles that were still roadworthy but sitting unused, so they could be made available for shared use around TalTech’s Mustamäe campus. In September, four refurbished bikes arrived on campus in a fresh new look.
The rules are simple and the bikes are free to use for everyone on campus:
Find a pink bike
The code is in the newsletter
Ride it to another building on campus – it’s faster and smarter than a car!
Park the bike near the entrance so others can easily spot it
Lock the bike
Spread the word to your colleagues
September is Transport and Mobility Month, during which we encourage the university community to give up cars for short city trips and walk, cycle, or use public transport instead. You've probably seen it too – ultra-short trips made by car, wasting more time looking for parking than it would take to walk.
