One of the artworks from the Artishok Biennial, Anu Juurak's site-specific spatial installation "Lift. Experiment," will be exhibited on the TalTech campus in the School of Business and Governance (SOC) building. It is at the Akadeemia tee 3 side of the lobby area.

Anu Juurak is a visual arts lecturer at TalTech's Academy of Architecture and Urban Planning. Her creative focus has been on space in its various forms and human capabilities to perceive and understand space. The upcoming spatial installation is situated at the intersection of architecture and visual arts and explores liminal spaces that we traverse both in life and in buildings. In the spatial installation "Lift. Experiment," a typically functioning elevator space is transformed into a reflective environment, creating a spatial illusion of a mezzanine floor for the visitor.
The Artishok Biennial is a dynamic exhibition format that unites artists and art critics on a shared platform. The biennial features 10 artists or creative groups and 10 art and cultural critics. At its core is an exhibition composed of new works created for the biennial, along with texts that offer the visitor over a hundred different approaches to interpreting these works. In 2025, the biennial will take place for the ninth time and will be curated by Brigit Arop and Margit Säde.
The 9th Artishok Biennial will run from February 20 to April 20, with the openings of ten new artworks taking place throughout February and March at various locations in Tallinn. Anu Juurak's installation will be open from March 1 to April 20.
