The European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) accreditation of the TalTech bachelor’s programme in International Business Administration was renewed for three years. EFMD accreditation underlines the coverage of practicality, internationality, and the importance of ethics and sustainability in the programme.

“Accreditation renewal is a sign of the high quality of the programme and our commitment to providing excellent education. This is a great recognition of the contribution and continuous cooperation of faculty, Alumni, students, and employers. The renewed accreditation provides evidence that the involvement of various stakeholders and cooperation partners in the curriculum development has been the only right choice, and we will continue with it even more actively in the future," commented Mari Avarmaa, Dean of the School of Business and Governance.

EFMD-accredited schools make up an international network that offers many different opportunities. For example, accredited universities become part of the global leadership development community. Members are welcome to participate in international workshops and projects. EFMD-accredited universities include, in addition to Tallinn University of Technology, world-class higher education institutions such as INSEAD, London Business School, IE Business School, HEC Paris, and Rotterdam School of Management.

The bachelor's programme in International Business Administration is a three-year study programme that aims to provide broad knowledge and skills in areas of business management such as management, entrepreneurship, marketing, logistics, economic accounting, and finance. The two specializations - entrepreneurship and marketing, and finance and accounting - open diverse opportunities for students to continue in various learning and career paths.

"Accreditation assures the students pursuing the bachelor's degree in international business administration that their effort will continue to pay off. Accreditation is also a sign of quality for those still considering earning a bachelor's degree," said Merle Küttim, Programme Director of International Business Administration.

European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) accreditation is the most thorough international accreditation system for study programmes in business and management, which covers all aspects: curriculum design, implementation, outputs and quality assurance processes, and the position of the study programme in the institutional, national, and international context.
