Circular Production (CircPro) course for PhD students welcomes participants!

'Circular Economy and Raw Material Competence for Sustainable Production' is an interdisciplinary digitally run course for PhD students around the world. Doctoral students in geology, mining engineering and manufacturing, on the one hand, and in material sciences and economics on the other, will be trained together. 

The course offers PhD students:

  • direct contact with the raw materials industry in Europe
  • opportunity to prepare a business plan ready for incubation
  • idea validation on several levels

Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. We strongly encourage applicants to apply early!

The tuition fee is 700 EUR, including course materials, digital industry visits, and a certificate of 7,5 ECTS.

RIS region discount of 30% will be provided for students from RIS region universities.

The course is offered in collaboration with researchers and lecturers from RiSe Sweden; KTH, Sweden; Mälardalen Uni, Sweden; TU Freiberg, Germany; TalTech, Estonia. With strong support from industry partners: Boliden Mines and Boliden Smelters; Höganäs, Swerim; RISE Research Institutes of Sweden.
