The Rector’s Cup final stage on May 15th – the 10 km run – offers more than just an exciting course and a fun evening. There will also be surprises, such as the chance for you to win a brand-new pair of running shoes (of your own choice), regardless of your placement in the run.

The previous message was no joke – one lucky person really will win a brand-new pair of Nike running shoes without needing to place high in the 10 km run at all.

Let us introduce – the Glehn Castle Mini Run: a race within the race.

The runner whose net time* from the starting gate to Glehn Castle is the best will win a pair of Nike running shoes of their choice. Thanks to net time tracking, you don’t need to worry if you’re not at the front of the starting pack.

Net time, or “clean time,” in the context of the Glehn Castle Mini Run, means your result from the starting gate to the Glehn Castle intermediate checkpoint.

It’s important to mention: if you aim to win the Mini Run, you still have to complete the full 10 km course – even if you end up walking it!

To help you start preparing, you can already go and try out the 1.8 km Glehn Castle segment – see the short introduction below.

You’ll find the full course map HERE.
