This spring, three of our doctoral students defended their doctoral theses at the Department of Energy Technology. On June 6, Kertu Lepiksaar defended her thesis "Smart Energy System Efficiency Improvement Through Combined Heat and Power Production Flexibility". Her supervisor was prof. Anna Volkova and co-supervisor Igor Krupenski.
On June 10, Mais Hanna Suleiman Baqain defended her thesis "Oil Shale Oxyfuel CFB Combustion". Her supervisor was prof. Alar Konist and co-supervisor Dmitri Nešumajev.
And On June 10 there was another defense - Alejandro Lyons Cerón defended his thesis "Co-Pyrolysis of Biomass and Oil Shale". His supervisor was prof. Alar Konist. Congratulations to all new PhD holders and supervisors!
