The Development Fund’s scholarship competition is in full swing and Elcogen is looking for their first grantee! The hydrogen technology scholarship is intended for one TalTech master’s student, who is interested in hydrogen technology and who is planning to contribute to it’s future. Elcogen has very ambitious vision for the future, the growth plans and for that, they need bright heads to be joining their company during following years.

We supply the core technology that sits at the heart of energy security and transition away from fossil fuels. We are focused on driving net zero ambitions forward with a core, reversible technology that converts fuel sources into emission-free energy and emission-free energy into green hydrogen.
Elcogen’s core solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) and solid oxide electrolysis cell (SOEC) technology is flexible and can be applied to a broad range of residential, industrial, and commercial applications, enabling multiple types of systems to produce and use green energy. We believe in a future fuelled by a hydrogen economy for our commercial customers and partners, with our technology enabling green hydrogen to fuel combustion-free energy security for the world.
Elcogen is giving out scholarships for the first time. Why now and what is the wider purpose behind it?
For Elcogen, it is first time to give scholarship and we are very excited to join the companies who are investing and supporting new generation talents! Why now? Because Elcogen has very ambitious vison for the future, the growth plans and for that, we need bright heads to be joining our company during following years!
Which students are you expecting to apply for your scholarship?
We do not limit as with one or two faculties. As company is facing rapid growth face, different know-how, experience, and expertise is required.
What are your recommendations to the students who consider applying?
To have spark in your eye whatever you do and to believe in it!

The first country where Elcogen products landed was Turkey. The farthest country Elcogen products have landed is Australia and there is one system in Estonia where Elcogen products are in use and this product was bought and installed by Finnis company.
