Transport accounted for nearly 30% of TalTech’s greenhouse gas footprint in 2022, and an analysis shows that 60% of people travel to the university by car. By travelling to work, school, and home by public transport or by bike, you can make a significant contribution to reducing the footprint of the university.

The electric bicycle demo area is located on the flagpole square in front of the main university building from noon until 6 p.m. Those interested can test ride an electric cargo bike, mountain bike, city bike, fatbike, or scooter. Prizes will be raffled off among visitors. One lucky spectator will have a chance to win the classic city bike Triumph Classico from Velomarket. Those interested will be offered a one-off discount code for bike maintenance or purchase. Currently, the Environmental Investment Centre offers a grant of up to €1,000 for the purchase of an electric cargo bike.

Electrobike, Velomarket, Kastiratas, JOOKS Rattastuudio, Ampler Bikes, and Äike will be presenting their bikes at the demo area.
