On November 1, drone enthusiasts gathered at TalTech’s sports hall to present solutions developed over two weeks in response to eleven challenges.

During the final event, teams showcased their work in the fields of autonomous navigation, sensor fusion, object detection, safety, and hardware innovation. The presentations before the jury, partners, and audience culminated in indoor drone flight demonstrations.
“The first-place team managed to visualize drone signal coverage on a map, the second-place team created a connection between two points using a drone and an optical cable, and the third-place team integrated live drone video directly with a map application to mark and track points of interest,” explained Mairo Leier, head of TalTech’s SARD Artificial Intelligence Lab, describing the winning projects.
