Tours whisked visitors to hidden corners of TalTech

Visitors saw labs, cellars, and elevated viewpoints with panoramic views of the entire campus. Guided campus tours drew about one hundred participants, who were most thrilled by the world’s fastest student-built formula car, created right there on campus.

Visitors also explored the university library under expert guidance, learning about its history, developments, and most fascinating finds. Archive visits unveiled historic treasures, highlighted in an exhibition of the best “pearls.”

Sporting Challenges Kept the Energy High

The week kicked off on 3 September with the opening of a temporary disc golf course near the amphitheatre, culminating in the Linnakupidu Discgolf Open. Top players won prizes from For Me, with Ville Kivisill, Kaire Tekku, and Sander Saaring delivering notable precision.

Student activists demonstrated both athleticism and cleverness in the traditional pentathlon, launching the new season of the Rector’s Cup. This year, the Student Council of the School of Business bested the competition. Those observing were treated to a vivid, high-stakes spectacle.

Nearly one hundred attendees tested their aim in a darts competition, while 140 participants enjoyed a relaxing and fun drink-yoga session prior to the big evening party.

Brains were buzzing—132 keen minds took part in a quiz hosted at the student house as the afterparty space sprang to life.

Meeting Spots Fostered New Connections

In front of the library, a pop-up library and the robot TEMI greeted curiosity-seekers with reading recommendations, on-the-spot library registration, and a fun emoji game.

At the NRG atrium, guests listened to a discussion on economics and sustainability. Alumni reminisced with friends and classmates in the cozy lounge courtyard. Over 12 cohorts participated in reunions, with more than 250 people of varying ages reconnecting

A Wild Afterparty to Cap the Night

The day reached its peak with an unforgettable afterparty. The assembly hall was set ablaze by performances from Justament, Dagö, Grete Paia & Púr Múdd, and Terminaator — delivering infectious energy to both crowd and artists alike.

For the first time in Campus Party history, the Wave Lab (Võnkelabor) warmed up the crowd with pulsating rhythms. A pop-up piano bar by Rene Pauli in the main building café invited guests to request songs from around the world. The international karaoke stage drew many eager singers and large audiences alike.
