On 25 February, a record number of high school students — 1,471 — explored the study opportunities at Tallinn University of Technology.On the same day, the Labyrinth Run competition was won by Eva-Angelica Kaldaru from Nõo Reaalgümnaasium.

During the Open Doors Day, participants had the opportunity to learn more about the university’s degree programmes and take part in more than 50 workshops, lectures and campus tours.

For example, visitors could experiment with how the laws of physics that apply on Earth are used in space, create their own computer game, explore engineering by playing with air and water, dive into the exciting world of the circular economy, and take on the role of a ship captain.

A total of 422 graduating high school students took part in the Labyrinth Run. The 15 top performers were awarded a study place in a degree programme of their choice at TalTech, excluding Architecture. First place was claimed by Eva-Angelica Kaldaru from Nõo Reaalgümnaasium.
