International studies play an important role in ensuring the quality of learning. International graduate students and international visiting students also provide an international learning experience for TalTech students who, for whatever reason, cannot or do not wish to study abroad themselves.

In the academic year 2022/23, TalTech hosted 287 international visiting students.

The breakdown of foreign students by level of studies was as follows: 115 bachelor’s students, 167 master’s students and 5 doctoral students.

Among the faculties, the most popular continues to be the School of Business and Governance with 133 international students, followed by the School of Engineering with 77, the School of Information Technology with 67 and the School of Science with 10.

In the academic year 2022/23, international visiting students from 129 higher education institutions from 29 countries came to study at Tallinn University of Technology. The highest numbers of students came from Germany (64) and France (63), followed by Italy (20 students), Spain (15) and the Czech Republic (14).
