The Mektory Centre is a meeting place for good thoughts, new ideas, inventive people, and awesome solutions. In the various seminar and meeting rooms of the Centre you can organise workshops, seminars, meetings, hackathons and conferences for up to 270 people. The Mektory Centre houses also the TalTech simulation-demo centre, built in cooperation with the Schools. The simulation-demo centre combines science with practical solutions - here you can see the student satellite, a model of the self-driving car Iseauto, the smart road pavement and other university's inventions. 
 
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 
An innovative and exciting idea for a virtual tour in Mektory. The tour should give a general overview of the Mektory Centre as well as provide information on the services/possibilities (possibility to organize conferences, hackathons, etc.) offered.  
 
WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE?  
Students from different educational institutions (TalTech, the Estonian Academy of Arts, Baltic Film, Media, Arts and Communication School, etc.) are welcome to participate in the idea collection. You can participate alone or with a team, including a university-wide team, and present one or several ideas – there are no restrictions! 
 
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 

• An idea must be presented in the form of a description, it must be understandable and feasible. You can add pictures, videos, drawings, etc. to the description. 
• The virtual tour must work well on all modern browsers and it should be possible to take the tour using a VR headset or Google Cardboard.   
• Add also the idea's name, name(s) and contact details of the author(s) of the idea. 
• The deadline for submission of ideas is August 3, 2020

The brightest idea will be selected on the 6th of August. The winner will receive the prize of 1000€! In addition, we will provide the author of the idea an opportunity to put his or her idea into practice and create a virtual tour for Mektory.
