Tallinn University of Technology

The EuroTeQ consortium currently includes 6+2 partner universities this year. Compared to last year, we have welcomed two new partners - IESE Barcelona and HEC Paris. In the following posts, we would like to start introducing our partners to you. The first partner university is the Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU), and we will also share interesting facts about them with you.

  • The Czech Technical University (CTU) is located in the Czech capital, Prague. It is one of the oldest technical institutes in Central Europe, with over 19,000 students currently enrolled. CTU was founded in 1707, initially offering secondary school education.
  • CTU comprises a total of 8 faculties: civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, nuclear energy, architecture, transportation services, biomedical engineering, and information technology. The university is particularly known for its strengths in construction and aerospace engineering.
  • One of CTU's recent notable achievements is an autonomous device created by students, capable of producing drinking water even in the driest climates, for purposes such as feeding livestock or irrigating plants. More information can be found here: https://www.sawer.cz/about-sawer/
  • Through EuroTeQ, the Czech Technical University offers a total of 23 different courses for the spring semester.
