Tallinn University of Technology

The EuroTeQ consortium currently includes 6+2 partner universities this year. Compared to last year, two new partners have joined us - IESE Barcelona and HEC Paris. While in the previous post we introduced the Technical University of Munich, today we'll focus on Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e).

  • Eindhoven University of Technology, briefly TU/e, is one of the four technical universities in the Netherlands and one of the partner universities of EuroTeQ. TU/e is situated in the southeastern city of Eindhoven and has a total student body of approximately 13,000. The university was founded in 1956 through collaboration between industry, government, and academia—a collaboration that has continued for this relatively young university up to the present day.

  • The research domains of Eindhoven University of Technology encompass health, energy, a green and sustainable mindset, and smart mobility. The students at the university are actively involved in close collaboration with industrial companies. The university's motto is "Where innovation starts," emphasizing the fusion of scientific curiosity with a practical mindset, enabling the design of solutions for today's and tomorrow's complex issues based on fundamental knowledge.

  • The TU/e campus is almost half the size larger than TalTech's campus and even features its own cinema. Tuition fees range from 1,000 to 15,000 euros, but for EuroTeQ students, it's completely free!

  • If you are a TalTech student, next semester in Eindhoven, you might have the opportunity to learn Dutch, architecture, modeling, energy studies, or participate in the EuroTeQ Collider.
