On January 22, the Investor of the Year 2022 was announced in Kultuurikatel. As a result of the public vote and the Äripäev jury, TalTech's lecturer in finance and investor Kristjan Liivamägi was chosen as the Investor of the Year 2022.

The Investor of the Year award is given to the investor who has contributed the most to the promotion of Estonian investing culture and the sharing of monetary wisdom. This is the highest recognition given in the investment community.
