On 7 December, four recipients of the Medal of the Estonian Academy of Sciences were announced, each of whom has left a significant mark on the Estonian research landscape or society.
Malle Krunks, Tenured Full Professor at the Tallinn University of Technology, received the award for her extensive efforts in bringing female scientists to the forefront, for inspiring young colleagues, and for her long-standing contribution to the work of the L’Oreal-UNESCO scholarship evaluation commission.
