At Tallinn University of Technology, the Water Environmental Engineering Group has launched a new Erasmus KA220 Cooperation Partnership in School Education project: "The Circular Schools – Empowering Secondary Education Students for a Green Future through Circularity Thinking Strategies" (EDU.CIRCULAR). Duration 01.11.2024 – 31.10.2026.
EDU.CIRCULAR aims to implement a Whole School approach by integrating Circularity Thinking Strategies into secondary education, empowering students to adopt sustainable and green practices. The project will provide capacity-building resources, digital tools, and interactive learning activities, including an XR application and an online platform, ensuring broad, impactful, and sustainable learning experiences.
Tallinn University of Technology, in collaboration with partners from Greece, Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Türkiye, will develop teaching materials and methodologies to promote Circular Economy principles.
The project officially started with a kick-off meeting at TalTech in December 2024. TalTech is leading Work Package 2 (WP2) "Application." An online meeting was held to discuss project activities, with all partners contributing to the planning of the next event, scheduled for February 23–26, 2025, in Greece. More information about the project will be available on the official website starting April 2025.
