The Bank of Lithuania and the Center for Excellence in Finance and Economic Research (CEFER) have an upcoming CEFER Challenge, which this years' theme focuses on assessing the economic and financial impact of climate change.​​​

CEFER Challenge

The challenge builds upon a framework of US Federal Reserve annual competition and targets undergraduate and master's students. To participate in the challenge, students must form teams of 3-4 participants. Teams can be formed of students from different study fields or levels. All the team members must be academically active students in the given academic year.

Bank of Lithuania provides monetary rewards for the winning teams (3000 euros for the winner and 1500 euros for the runner-up). Internship possibilities are available at the Bank of Lithuania and interested partners.

The deadline for registration is the 31st of March, 2022. If there are any students interested in participating, but are unable to find team members, please contact helery.tasane@taltech.ee for assistance.
