Professor Jose Carlos Quadrado, the president of European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education, will be visiting Estonia and TalTech on March 22-23. He will also give a short lecture during that time.
During the visit he will meet the representatives of the Ministry of Education and Research and Estonian Quality Agency for Education.
He will also meet Rector Tiit Land, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Hendrik Voll, Dean Fjodor Sergejev and Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs. The meetings focus on modern engineering education and engineering pedagogy as a field of pedagogy that requires more attention than before.
During the visit, the President of ENAEE will be accompanied by the President of IGIP, Head of EIPK and TalTech Associate Professor Mrs Tiia Rüütmann.
On March 23 Professor Jose Carlos Quadrado will be giving a short lecture on “Towards the Engineering Education Profession”, where he will discuss the trends in engineering education and the importance of engineering pedagogy in acquiring the engineering profession. It will take place between 1:30 and 2:15 PM in room U06-401.
