Wolfgang Drechsler, Professor of Government at TalTech’s School of Business and Governance, was elected the new Chair of the Board of EAPAA, the European Association for Public Administration Accreditation.
“EAPAA is the only quality assurance authority in Public Administration that is active throughout Europe. It has by now accredited more than 70 programmes across the continent, including most leading institutes in the field” (https://www.eapaa.eu/).
Wolfgang Drechsler has professionally dealt with accreditation for three decades, having served from 1990 as an executive secretary with the Science Council under the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, then charged with the reunification of German science and higher education. He has remained closely engaged in evaluation and accreditation on all national and international levels ever since
